HISTORY

PASA Stallions FC was formed on the 16th of January 2007 by two friends Enrique Horna and Nick Melia. The name PASA Stallions came about as the Spanish word for pass is “PASA” which was yelled more often than not by Enrique’s dad and Stallions is due to Nick’s Italian heritage. The jersey colours of red and white are due to Enrique’s birthplace, Peru.

PASA Stallions FC compete in the Northern Sydney Football Summer 6 a side Competition. PASA Stallions FC competed in the Kenthurst Summer Competition in 2007, winning the competition and only losing 2 games on their way to the Grand Final.

In the 2008/09 season, PASA Stallions FC competed in the St. Ives 5-a-side competition, where they won the Division 2 title. In the 2009/10, PASA Stallions FC made it 3 Championships in a row. In the 2010/11 season, PASA Stallions FC entered 2 teams into the St. Ives Showground Season with both of them finishing in the Top 4. 2011/12 Season finished with the two teams finishing 2nd and 3rd in their respective comps. Season 2012 saw PASA Stallions FC enter 3 Men’s All Age teams into the St. Ives Competition, and for the first time ever, entered a Mixed team to the same competition. Over the last 6 years, we have grown from 8 men players, to 38 players both male and female.

Season 2013 saw the expansion of PASA Stallions FC go one step bigger. We fielded 2 Mixed teams, 4 men’s teams and and 3 kids teams spanning two competitions. It meant that we had over 60 players registered to play for our club.

Season 2014 was more of the same from the club. We created great interest in our teams, with positions filled in record time. Our Men’s teams on Tuesday Nights at St. Ives Showground became Champions in their respective divisions, while our Men’s “B” team won the Mills Park competition, only losing one game along the way. Our Thursday night mixed team finished 2nd in the regular comp, while our Under 13’s kids team playing indoor at Thornleigh also were runners up. We also had a men’s team playing out of Kensington, bringing the number of players to 70+

Season 2015  has started off with a men’s team competing in Football NSW’s Champion of Champions tournament. We qualified by winning our Mills Park tournament in 2014. We finished as semi finalist, losing to the eventual champions.

Our champion Men’s 1 team became premiers and champions of the Blackman competition, while our mixed team finished second on the table, but lost their semi final.
